Who attends Futures Fair?

More than 2,400 high school students attend Futures Fair each year. Futures Fair targets juniors in high school, but other classes are welcome to attend. High school counselors and parents/guardians are also in attendance. The guests mainly come from the greater Wichita, KS/Sedgwick county area and many schools bus their students to the event.

Who can register for a booth to exhibit?

Representatives from local, state, national, and global institutions whose programs lead to certification and/or a degree are welcome to register. This includes colleges, universities, community colleges, proprietary schools, armed forces, technical colleges, and vocational-technical institutions.

How and when can I register to exhibit?

Registration will open in August.

The registration and payment deadline will be in early October.

How much does it cost to exhibit and what’s included?

Booth price is being decided. Institutions may request up to 3 booths (pending available space). Each booth includes a six-foot table, two chairs, and exhibitor access to the hospitality room which offers a continental breakfast, lunch, and beverages throughout the day.

When is booth set-up?

Exhibitors may set up in Koch Arena:

  • Monday, Oct. 14, 2024 TBA

  • Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 from 7-8 a.m. (Buses start arriving at approximately 8:15 a.m.)

What can my booth/exhibit space contain?

Futures Fair follows most KACRAO rules. All displays/materials must fit within the allotted space. No additional furniture or props may be brought in. No giveaways are allowed.

What if I need electricity or wifi?

You can request electricity on the registration form. However, exhibitors must provide their own cord/power strip.

WSU has guest Internet service available.

Where do we park during the event?

WSU is on fall break so parking is ample. Exhibitors may park on the northwest side of Koch Arena in an area reserved for Futures Fair exhibitors. Parking Map
